4th July Lavender Harvest

Come and celebrate 4th July in a lavender farm pickup or harvest your own lavender bouquets with some heavenly aromas. We will be serving some delish lavender lemonade and cookies!

The farm will be specially open for the celebration of the holiday from 10:00- 4:00

On this event:

Tour $1 (under the age of 15 is free).

You’ll be invited to step into the garden for a guided exploration and then encouraged to spend time with the plants, touching them, smelling their aroma, developing an appreciation for the gift it gives. In this tour you will see the biggest collection of lavender varieties in California over a 100 lavender species.

DIY Harvesting: Provence lavender $7, Spanish/English Lavender $5

Have a beautiful farming lavender experience by harvesting your own lavender bouquet with your own desired fragrances and colors!. We will provide the tools, teach you how to cut, groom and dry your own lavender, but bring your own gloves for a real farmer’s experience!

No need to buy tickets in advance

● From Redding CA

● Head south on Market St toward Shasta St (443 ft)

● Market St turns left and becomes CA-44 E/Tehama St (signs for I-5)

*Continue to follow CA-44 (E12.4 mi)

● Turn left onto Old 44 Dr (0.8 mi)

● Turn right onto Whitmore Rd (17.6 mi)

Do not turn left on Fern Road continue straight and look for Fern Road East.

*Drive through the town of Whitmore, passing the local post office, grocery store, and elementary school. You will come upon Fern Road EAST.

● Turn left onto Fern Rd East

● Follow Fern Road EAST, about 2 miles and you will find Lavineyard Farms on the right at:
