About the Event

Learn the best tips and tricks on how to make your own custom 'Welcome' porch sign in on Saturday, June 27th, 2019. We will supply everything you will need and guide you step by step. There will be many colors and themes to choose from, but you can definitely get inspired by the lavender. This will be a day to unwind, relax and enjoy good company so either come alone or bring your friends!

Cost: $45 per person if paid by July 20th or $50 per person after. This will also include your lavender tour to see over 100 different lavender varieties.

*Please note that tickets are limited for each class.

Two time options :

1. Morning Class:

Arrival Time: 9:30am- 9:45am

Tour Time: 10:00am-10:15am

Workshop: 10:30am-11:45am

2. Noon Class:

Arrival Time: 11:30am-:11:45am

Tour Time: 12:00pm-12:15pm

Workshop: 12:30pm-1:15pm

What you will do: Upon arrival, you will see the different shades of lavender and the blended smell of our 100+ varieties. We will tour the grounds and understand the differences of the lavender varieties, what are the uses and benefits of lavender. Then we will get busy! Tera will guide you through and you will create your own custom porch sign!

At this workshop you can choose your preference of board size at checkout.

Choices include: 12”x6’ or 10”x5’ pine boards (see photos for an idea of size difference) .*Prices are the same for each size

We do ask that you prepay, using the ticket button , to reserve your spot due to supplies and space availability. The cost is $50 per person and I am offering a $5 discount if you prepay before July 20th. Any refunds will be given as a credit towards your next paint party. You must give 24hrs notice to receive your credit. Credits do expire within 6 months of your canceled class.

Please note: you will be traveling home with your finished masterpiece so make sure to have room in your vehicles.

Also, at this event, you can purchase (cash or card)- fresh lavender bouquets (you can harvest your on lavender if you wish), lavender plants in different varieties, lavender soaps, oils, lotions, candles, and many more!

Please wear flat enclosed shoes out on the farm. We are a working farm, so the ground can be uneven. Please leave your four-legged babies home (service dogs are the exception).

● From Redding CA

● Head south on Market St toward Shasta St (443 ft)

● Market St turns left and becomes CA-44 E/Tehama St (signs for I-5)

*Continue to follow CA-44 (E12.4 mi)

● Turn left onto Old 44 Dr (0.8 mi)

● Turn right onto Whitmore Rd (17.6 mi)

Do not turn left on Fern Road continue straight and look for Fern Road East.

*Drive through the town of Whitmore, passing the local post office, grocery store, and elementary school. You will come upon Fern Road EAST.

● Turn left onto Fern Rd East

● Follow Fern Road EAST, about 2 miles and you will find Lavineyard Farms on the right at:
