Lavender Berries Lemonade- By Lavineyard Farms

Updated: Jan 26, 2021

The summer is here and we need to cool it done- here is a nice recipe for Lavender Berries Lemonade.

Ingredients:

1 cup sugar

4 1/2 cups water, divided

1 cup fresh squeezed lemon juice

3/4 cup fresh or frozen berries, plus more for garnish

And Ice!

It's important to use English culinary lavender for best result. You can find our English culinary lavender pack under this link.

Fresh lavender can be used as well, but be aware that fresh is not as potent as dried.

Directions:

1. To make the lavender syrup, bring sugar and 1 cup water to a boil in a saucepot. Reduce heat and let simmer until sugar is dissolved. Add the lavender, cover, and let steep for 8 to 10 minutes. Strain into a clean bowl and chill.

2. Strain lavender syrup into a blender, add berries. Puree until smooth. Pour blended berries into a pitcher, straining and pushing on the solids if desired. Add lemon juice and 3 1/2 cups chilled water to the pitcher. Stir and serve over ice. Garnish with additional lavender and berries if desired.

This sounds SO VERY EXCITING!!! I have LOTS of berries here right now at my place on 2.5 acres, and I cannot WAIT to try this! I even invite people to come here to pick them, free of charge. No limit. Wow.
